McGee Design Studio, will share with you the simplest technique that will change how you put together a beautiful light and airy bouquet; a technique that will keep stems from shifting position as you work and help you control a lovely spiral twist.

    Start your morning with a cozy cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa! Take a stroll with a Naturalist while enjoying the birds that live at Wiconisco Creek Park. Meet at the Pavilion. Dress for the weather, as this program will take place entirely outdoors. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.

    Introduction to Plarn

    Plarn is a word that combines the terms “plastic” and “yarn.” It is the process of creating a usable upcycled yarn out of plastic grocery bags. Participants will learn how to make “plarn” out of their plastic bags at home and begin making a small bag.

    Maple Tree Tapping and Historic Harvesting Methods

    Join a history educator to learn how maple sap was harvested in years past and see how maple trees are tapped today using modern equipment. This event will take place outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather.
