Join us for an enchanting evening at Fort Hunter Mansion & Park! The Bella Serata fundraising dinner promises to be a celebration of fine cuisine, camaraderie, and the beauty of Central Pennsylvania.

This workshop is for any educator interested in teaching about aquatic wildlife & ecology such as classroom teachers, non-formal educators, college students studying to be teachers (pre-service), school administrators, homeschool teachers and youth leaders. Morning refreshments and snack provided. ACT 48 hours are available for PA Certified Teachers. The workshop will be held indoors and outdoors. 

Join us for a FREE concert at Fort Hunter Park as Gamut Theatre: Popcorn Hat Players present "Tales from Ancient Greece". Dauphin County Parks & Recreation is excited to offer a summer of fun events for the whole family with our Sunset Music & Movie Series! Food Trucks: Sarah’s Creamery is available beginning at 6:30 pm.

Join us for a walk at Veterans Park! This Walk With A Doc program is designed to provide some general health information and a moderately-paced walk. This is a FREE walk, but we ask that you pre-register. A Park Rx Wellness Program sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield and supported by Penn State Health.

Enjoy a movie night outdoors under the stars at Fort Hunter Park. Everyone will love "The Little Mermaid" which has a “PG” rating and a run time of 2 hour and 15 minutes. The Friends of Fort Hunter will operate a concession stand with movie snacks and drinks.

Join us for a FREE concert at Fort Hunter Park as the Susquehanna Folk Music Society presents Neidig, Koretzky & Blouin Folk Trio. Dauphin County Parks & Recreation is excited to offer a summer of fun events for the whole family with our Sunset Music & Movie Series! Food Trucks: Lykens Valley Bison and Sarah’s Creamery will be available beginning at 6:30 pm with eats and treats.

Join Wildwood Park for the 5th annual Run Wild for Wildwood 5K & 10K. This scenic run/walk will take you on the Wildwood Way Trail around the lake and the Towpath Trail along the Pennsylvania Canal! Bring your friends and family to show your support for Wildwood Park and the community. 

Join us for a Walk With A Doc walk on the Greenbelt Connector starting at Fort Hunter Park. The walk will be approximately 2 miles in length, but it is a well-marked path and you can choose to do as much or as little as you would like. The pathway is paved and wheelchair accessible. A Park Rx Wellness Program sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield and supported by Penn State Health.

Join us for a walk at the newly opened Boyd's Park! The full walk will be approximately 2 miles; however, there is an option to head back earlier if you don’t want to walk the full walk. The walking trail is TSA crushed stone and it is accessible to wheelchairs. A Park Rx Wellness Program sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield and supported by Penn State Health.

Join us for a 1.25-mile walk at Reservoir Park! This Walk With A Doc program is designed to provide some general health information and a moderately-paced walk around Reservoir Park and the National Civil War Museum including a portion of the Greenbelt. It will be a 1.25-mile loop walking around Reservoir Park and the National Civil War Museum. A Park Rx wellness program sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield and supported by Penn State Health.
