Do wild animals have mothers? How long do the young animals stay with their mothers? A day, a year, two years??? How do animal mothers protect and feed their young? Join a Naturalist to explore the world of wild animal mothers and their young. Participants will discover the answers to these questions and many more through stories, a short hike, hands-on activities and a craft—what better way to celebrate Mother’s Day. Registrants must be accompanied by a chaperone for the duration of the program. A maximum of one chaperone per child is permitted. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
