Attendees will discover how predatory insects support biological pest control by feeding on damaging pests, reducing reliance on chemical pesticides, and helping maintain healthy ecosystems and biodiversity. By encouraging these beneficial species, farmers and gardeners can lower pest management costs while protecting the environment. Led by Angela Hartley, Master Gardener of Dauphin County, the program is part of the Gardening with Insects series and features locally relevant imagery of insects photographed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Preregistration is required. Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinar. A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within ten business days after the live event. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event date.
