Pennsylvania is home to hundreds of caves- from short crawlways to miles of maze passages. PA caves provide a unique opportunity for exploration, recreation, surveying and scientific research. Learn about the distribution of caves in the state, how they form, how to safely go exploring, and the unique ecosystems they provide from Rose-Anna Behr, Senior Geologist Sinkhole and Karst Specialist with the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Geological Survey, in this in-person lecture. Pre-registration is not required.
