Flower Walk: Heat Tolerant and Water-Loving Plants – Park Rx

Join volunteer Jane Earle to see some of the showier wetland plants, such as American lotus and rose mallow. Common ragweed, responsible for a great deal of allergic response, will be identified along the Towpath. Meet at the South Lot. Participants who pre-register and attend any flower walk in 2026 will be entered into a raffle with the chance to win a wildflower-themed gift basket from the Nature Shop courtesy of the Friends of Wildwood. This program is part of the Park Rx series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
