Celebrate World Health Day by joining us for Walk with a Doc! This community wellness program combines light physical activity with simple, practical health tips. A local healthcare provider will lead this moderately paced walk and share insights focused on children’s health.

Participants will meet at Veteran’s Park in Susquehanna Township under the picnic pavilion before setting out on an out-and-back route, allowing everyone to choose a walking distance that feels comfortable. The path is compacted with crushed stone and paved surfaces and is accessible for wheelchair users. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and leashed dogs are welcome. Preregistration is required, and space is limited. This Park Rx wellness program is sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield and supported by Penn State Health, with coordination from Susquehanna Township Parks and Recreation, the Capital Area Greenbelt Association, and Dauphin County Parks & Recreation.
