Meditation: 5 Steps to Greater Peace & Happiness – Park Rx

We can't control the world, but we can control how we choose to focus. Discover simple, accessible ways to bring more calm, clarity, and joy into your life. This one‑hour introductory course explores the basics of meditation and guides participants through short, easy practices that can be used by anyone, regardless of background or belief system. It’s a gentle, welcoming way to reset your mindset and start the year with greater peace and purpose.

The session is led by Kelsang Chondzin, a Stanford graduate and American Buddhist nun with 18 years of teaching experience. Open to ages 12 and older; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Pre‑registration is required, and space is limited. A Park Rx wellness program sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield.
