Kids Discover: Gregarious Geese (Ages 5-10)
Join a Naturalist to explore the world of geese, examine their amazing adaptations and discover why jets mimic geese in flight! The program will include a short walk, craft, and activities to take home. -
Winter Walk (ages 5-10)
Bundle up for a winter walk at Wiconisco Park. Discover hardy plants that thrive in late winter and learn how they survive the cold with a Naturalist. Registrants must be accompanied by a chaperone for the duration of the program. A maximum of one chaperone per child is permitted. Space is limited and preregistration is required. -
Bird Safe Harrisburg PA with Appalachian Audubon
Join Appalachian Audubon Society to learn about their Bird Safe Harrisburg initiative. A major component of this initiative is a bird collision monitoring program which aims to identify the timing of collisions, what bird species are most affected and what buildings in Harrisburg are most deadly.
