Throughout history, flowers have inspired art and poetry and sparked ideas for design and engineering! In this program, scouts will explore the role of flowers in our world, dissect flowers for up close observations and take a short hike to discover the flowers at Wildwood Park.

Every Tuesday (weather permitting), enjoy a moderately-paced walk around Wildwood Lake while enjoying the trees and animals at the park.

This bird walk with Rick and Peggy Price will begin at the Nature Center to explore Wildwood Way and the North Boardwalk. Meet in the Nature Center Parking Lot. This program is part of the Park Rx series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.

Join Master Gardener Kevin Kelly for a guided walk through the Nature Center’s Garden Beds. Each walk will highlight what’s in bloom, along with shrubs, foliage, structure and other seasonal features that give the garden interest and support wildlife.
