Detweiler Park                                                                          $5 per participant

Join the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg for an evening of stargazing at Detweiler Park. The evening will begin with a short 0.3-mile walk along variable terrain to the open fields. Weather permitting, local astronomers will be on hand to show you night sky objects using their telescopes. Bring binoculars to help find the constellations Leo and Cancer, planets Mars and Jupiter, along with a star cluster or two. A red light and walking sticks are highly encouraged if available to help navigate trails in the dark. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
