Flower Walk: Heat Tolerant Plants – Park Rx

Pink and white flowers in the wild

Sunday, August 17                                        10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Wildwood Park                                             Free

Join volunteer Jane Earle to see some of the wetland plants, such as American lotus and the rose mallows. Common ragweed, responsible for a great deal of allergic response, will be identified along the North Boardwalk. Meet in front of the Nature Center. Participants in attendance for any flower walk in 2025 will be entered into a raffle with the chance to win a wildflower-themed gift basket from the Nature Shop courtesy of the Friends of Wildwood. This program is part of the Park Rx series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
