Penn State Extension Master Gardeners’ Gardening with Insects: Attracting Insect Pollinators (Virtual Program)

Wildwood Park                $10 per participant

Explore the essential role of insect pollinators in our food systems and ecosystems. Attendees will learn how these insects support the reproduction of flowering plants, provide food for humans and wildlife, sustain healthy habitats, and contribute to a stable economy. With an estimated economic value of more than $34 billion annually in the United States and as many as 35% of global food crops reliant on their pollination, understanding and supporting pollinators is critical. This session offers practical insights to help gardeners attract and protect pollinators in their landscapes. Preregistration is required. Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinar. A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within ten business days after the live event. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event date.
