The mission of the Dauphin County Adult Probation Department is to enhance public safety, hold individuals accountable, support rehabilitation, and reduce recidivism, while enforcing court directives with integrity.
The Dauphin County Adult Probation Department is tasked with enforcing the Court's orders and directing the nearly 6,000 offenders under our supervision to services within the community that will improve and enable them to become lawful, productive citizens.
The department is organized into units of specialized caseloads. These caseloads include Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD), Drug Court, Electronic Monitoring, Geographical Field Supervision, Intake, Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities (MH/ID), Intensive Drug, Monetary Compliance, Reduced/Transfer/Administrative, Sex Offender, Street Crimes, Recovery Connections Court, Spanish speaking, ICOTS, and Veteran’s Court.
