Earth altars are known as ephemeral nature-based artworks. A forest mandala is one example of an earth altar. During this program, we will learn about the “how-to’s” and the health and A wellness benefits of creating earth altars/mandalas. Participants will also experience a forest-bathing-inspired sensory invitation before creating individual earth altars/mandalas. No worries, creating a forest altar/mandala requires no arts and crafts skills or talent. A Park Rx wellness program sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield.
