Join us for a moderately paced walk around Italian Lake in Harrisburg.

Street parking is available near Italian Lake. The group will meet up by the Pavilion. You can access the park without stairs at its entrances on Division Street and Edwards Street. The Division Street entrance is closer to the pavilion. There is street parking along Division Street, 3rd Street, 4th Street, and Edward Street.

The walk will be mainly flat and on paved surfaces. The full walk is estimated to take 1 hour based on the pace of the walkers. We encourage you to come out and join the walk for as long or as little as you are able.  All ages are welcome to attend, but we do ask that children be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

This is a FREE walk, but we ask that you pre-register. This walk is appropriate for all ages and children are welcome to attend but should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. A Park Rx wellness program sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield and supported by Penn State Health with program coordination between Penbrook Parks & Recreation, Susquehanna Township Parks and Recreation, Capital Area Greenbelt Association and Dauphin County Parks & Recreation.
