Join us for a FREE performance at Fort Hunter Park! Roots in Rhythm, Strength in Movement featuring Dwennimmen African Dance Company! Dauphin County Parks & Recreation is excited to offer a summer of fun events for the whole family with our Sunset Music & Movie Series!

Each week will highlight local performing arts organizations or an outdoor movie night from June - August. Pack a picnic basket (or purchase from our food concessions), bring your blankets and your lawn chairs, and enjoy an evening of family fun! These events are free thanks to our Presenting Sponsors, Veolia and Dauphin County Drug & Alcohol Services along with our Event Sponsor, Ollies.

Sarah's Creamery Ice Cream Truck will be on-site with sweet treats, including Penn State Creamery Ice Cream.

In the event of inclement weather, a decision will be made around lunchtime on Friday on whether the movie will proceed. If necessary, the rain date would be Sunday, June 8, 2025
